You can use the system
Wingdings font to display text graphics to your
buddies. To insert a Wingdings graphic, right
click in the active window where you are typing and
select "Text" and then "Font..."
There will be a list of
available fonts on the left hand side, scroll down and
select the "Wingdings" font and then click the
"OK" button on the right hand side. This will
bring you back to your text window, and anything you type
from here on out will display the corresponding Wingdings
graphic. You can make the graphic larger or bold the
same way you would any other text. When you want to
go back to typing your original font, follow the same
procedure as above but select the font you were previously
using.

Notes: You can use any font you have installed on your computer to create text graphics as long as your buddy has the font installed on his computer. Some other common fonts that will create text graphics are Webdings, Wingdings 2 and Wingdings 3.
